Moloch whose name is the Mind!

One of the greatest poems ever by one of the greatest poets. Excerpt from Allen Ginsberg’s “Howl”… “What sphinx of cement and aluminum bashed open their skulls and ate up their brains and imagination? Moloch! Solitude! Filth! Ugliness! Ashcans and unobtainable dollars! Children screaming under the stairways! Boys sobbing in armies! Old men weeping in the parks! Moloch! Moloch! Nightmare of Moloch! Moloch the loveless! Mental Moloch! Moloch the heavy judger of men! Moloch the incomprehensible prison! Moloch the crossbone soulless jailhouse and Congress of sorrows! Moloch whose buildings are judgment! Moloch the vast stone of war! Moloch the...

Police and security agencies owe their allegiance to a flag and a constitution, not any person or party

Most involved in law enforcement are good people who have more in common with the problems of everyday people than the greedy corrupt corporations they are oftentimes required to protect.  When the police and people join together to fight austerity, greed and corruption, than we will progress quickly towards a better world for all. This can begin by the police investigating and bringing charges against the corrupt politicians who have broken the laws of the land for their own selfish gains, or to maintain power and control.  Those holding public office are not exempt from our laws, and on the contrary should strive to set an example.  If the police hold politicians accountable for their actions it will help restore public faith in the integrity of our police and security agencies. Unfortunately that is not what I see happening at the federal level in Canada where there have been very questionable practices around election laws and a pattern of writing unconstitutional legislation, among a litany of other abuses of power and privilege.  If a court rules a law unconstitutional is that not illegal by definition?  If there is an ongoing continuous pattern of unconstitutional law-making when does that become a criminal activity? Thanks to all the brave persons in law enforcement who risk their lives day in day out, and still have to fight for fair wages and their...

Corrupt Wikipedia administrators carry out digital “book burning”

Coincidence? Possibly, but extremely unlikely. Have a good look at the intricate and beautiful Flower of Life….this may be what our shared future is made of…literally. :) How interesting that some corrupt Wikipedia administrators have recently completed their digital “book burning” and deleted the Lower Of Life article and replaced with an article about a Japanese cartoon. I wonder what reasons caused these admins to turn their backs on the ideas of truth and freedom which Wikipedia was founded on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Overlapping_circles_grid#Contested_deletion Cmon Wikipedia get your shit together, we need you! Social media and the Internet is nullifying the influence which...

The Flower of Life – Original Text of the Banned Wikipedia Article

Flower of Life   The Flower of Life. Geometrical symbols, including a “flower of life” rosette, incised on roof beams of a ceiling dating from 1681, Rural Architecture Museum of Sanok, Poland. Such marks were thought to provide protection from lightning. The Flower of Life is the name that gives to a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles. This figure forms a flower-like pattern with the symmetrical structure of a hexagon. A “Flower of Life” figure consists of seven or more overlapping circles,[1] in which the center of each circle is on the circumference of up to...

What is friction at the atomic scale?

When I think of friction I think of wood and sandpaper…but how does that translate into the atomic world? There are many theories out there that say nothing actually touches at the atomic scale, and that the illusion of solids are created by interaction of the energy fields of atoms alone…like tiny soap bubbles bumping around and into each other but the centers’ never touching. Or if a proton were the size of the Earth and how it’s energy fields might affect other objects like moons as its pseduo-electrons? Or the Sun as a proton and all us solar system planets as its electrons?? If only energy fields are interacting to make up solid matter, what is really going on when you’re sanding wood, or lighting fire with a stick and twine? From Science Mag “We also know that friction is one of major sources of energy loss, whereby a large amount of energy is dissipated into heat. In some cases, suitable surface preparation can lead to superlubricity, which corresponds to a state with extremely low frictional forces, where energy dissipation is at a minimum (1). On page 1115 of this issue, Bylinskii et al. (2) describe a cold-atom system that takes us to the ultimate limit of friction. They show that a defined number of ions, from one to six, can be moved across an optical lattice to...

Minimum age for marijuana

This is a GREAT idea….today’s black market pot is not good for teenagers (or some adults lol), particularly with some of the potent ~20% THC strains going around these days which are a long ways from the love bud of the 60’s when THC concentrations were generally much lower. Marijuana with 15-20% THC is no joke, particularly for young developing minds. Prohibition has helped drive growers to increase potency to compete in black market. If marijuana were regulated not only could you implement a minimum responsible age as with alcohol, but you could also begin to introduce lower potency...
